World AIDS Day
World AIDS Day is observed every year on December 1st. The World Health Organization established World AIDS Day in 1988. World AIDS Day provides governments, national AIDS programs, faith organizations, community organizations, and individuals with an opportunity to raise awareness and focus attention on the global AIDS epidemic.
AIDS has killed more than 25 million people, with an estimated 38.6 million people living with HIV, making it one of the most destructive epidemics in recorded history. Now AIDS is concentrated in teh Sub- Sharan Africa with about 60% of peoples living with AIDS and statistically4 400 peoples die everyday of AIDS in Sub-Saharan Africa.
